Important Information for Next Year's Schedules and School Pictures
Make sure your schedules are conflict free. As stated in the Course Handbook: Schedule changes will not be considered for: lunch times, friends in classes, specific teachers, or time of day. For an appointment please call 608-366-3425. Counselors are available on August 10th for Juniors and Seniors and August 12th for Sophomores and Freshmen. New this year school pictures will be taken during registration and the School Open House this year.
All students who have turned in their Enrollment Form for the 2010-2011 school year may pick up their schedules and have their school pictures taken on the dates and times listed below. Students who have not turned in their Enrollment Form must do so before picking up their schedules. Forms can be picked up in the Guidance Office.
August 10th for Junior and Seniors 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
August 12th for Freshmen and Sophomores 10:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.
August 25th – 6:00 – 8:00 PM Freshmen Orientation - Open House
There will be a freshmen/new students and parents/guardians meeting at 6:00 PM in the auditorium to discuss the transition into the new building. A senior students and parents/guardians meeting has been set for 7:00 PM in the auditorium to discuss graduation. Any student who did not have their school picture taken during registration should have them taken on this date from 12:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
Fall Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences are great opportunities for parents to meet their son’s/daughter’s teachers to discuss their progress in their respective classes. Below are dates and times in which they will be held.
October 8th – 7:30 – 10:30 A.M.
October 11th – 3:30 – 6:30 P.M.
October 12th – 3:30 - 6:30 P.M.
Work Permits
Sparta High School will issue a work permit if a student has all the necessary forms. Which are as follows:
· Letter from their employer with the businesses address and phone number stating the student has been hired and what duties they will be doing.
· Social Security Card (you must have the card with you no exceptions)
· WI Driver’s License or Birth Certificate or Baptismal Record or WI Instruction Permit
· $10.00
Work permits will be issued before and after school and during lunch times. Please allow 24 hours for processing. Summer main office hours are 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. for June and August and 7:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. for July. Guidance office hours are 7:00 A.M. -3:30 P.M.
