September

  • Make appointment with counselor for credit check
  • Meet with college/military representatives in Guidance Office
  • Colleges begin accepting applications September 15
  • Student athletes register with NCAA Clearinghouse
  • Continue researching career/college choices

 

     October

  • Youth Options deadline for second semester is October 1st
  • Take ACT in needed
  • Check out non-local scholarship opportunities listed in Guidance
  • Take final campus visits to narrow down college choices
  • Meet with college representatives in Guidance Office

 

       November

  • Check out non-local scholarships available in Guidance
  • Finalize career/college exploration
  • Apply for on campus housing early

 

         December

  • Attend Financial Aid Night Monday December 3, 2007 @ 6:30 in High School Auditorium 
  • Check out non-local scholarships available in Guidance
  • ASVAB test Dec. 12, 2007 in high school library
  • Inform Colleges that you have been accepted to whether or not you will be attending

       

        January

  • Financial Aid application begins January 1
  • Check out non-local scholarships available in Guidance

 

        February

  • Check out local Scholarships available in Guidance Office
  • Finalize and submit financial aid (FAFSA) application

 

March - May

  • Notify Guidance and mail final high school transcripts to college of choice
  • Attend Senior Luncheon
  • Review Financial Aid Notices from colleges, respond quick
