The mission (philosophy) of the Sparta Area School District's Agriculture and Natural Resources Department is to provide instruction in and about agriculture; serving all populations; developing the whole person; responding to the needs of the marketplace; advocating free enterprise and entrepreneurship; and utilizing formal instruction, experimental learning, leadership, and personal development.
